Wildcat Lighting - Extreme Pole Light(EPL) (patent pending)
The patent pending Wildcat Lighting - Pole Light or "EPL" was developed for for several purposes.
It began as a simple waterproof, self-contained fishing light that required no wire and would provide a great deal of light for an extended period of time... It was to be dropped over the side of a boat, shoreline or pier to attract bait and fish.
Welllll... it seems that the more work and better materials we used to make the prototypes - the better and more diverse it became.....
The "EPL" is made of aircraft grade aluminum, a custom designed 3 position switch system, a battery housing to closely contain 8 "D" cell standard alkaline batteries which also acts as a structural support for the Wildcat Lighting LED Strips as well as the Lexan lens.
The design, with machined slots and "O"rings, has allowed us to pressure test the unit to more than 600psi. This would be more than 1,000 ft. below sea level.
The "EPL" can operate at full power for over 24 hours or 2 days under position #2 at half power or as much as four continuous days in position #1.
The "EPL" weighs it at approximately 6.7lbs. and has many applications. and unlike other lights - has no elements to brake.
Some of the "EPL" uses are (but by no means limited to);
Emergency Lighting, Mining, Explosive/Combustable Environments, Work Environments, Fishing, Camping, Search & Rescue, Underwater Lighting, Scuba, Beacon, etc....
